Rob studied Music (BA Hons) at the University of Chichester Conservatoire (Formerly University of Chichester), specialising in Musical Direction, composition and orchestration, graduating in 2011. During this time he studied under leading MD’s of West End and Broadway, whilst regularly conducting pops, chamber and pit orchestras across the south of England. Rob has worked as a vocal / repertoire coach, rehearsal pianist and Musical Director at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Arts Educational Schools (London), and Performers College (Essex). Rob is proud to have years of extensive continued association with The Urdang Academy, (London) where he is also a lecturer and academic dissertation supervisor, and Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts (London). Rob has built a solid career as a keyboard player and conductor in London’s West End and across the UK on various tours; with a strong belief in musical beauty and expression through absolute specificity, he is a flexible and versatile musician with experience of many different styles.
